- Science, due tomorrow: Finish the "States of Matter" section of the chemistry unit project book, if you did not finish last Friday. More details in the blog entry from Tuesday, March 20 and Friday, March 23.
- Fourth grade math (purple group), due tomorrow: Please finish your Lattice Multiplication Handout, and practice one or two multiplication fact families for 15 minutes tonight online or with your cards. Cerrito students, please bring your math portfolios back to school.
- Fourth grade math (blue group): Cerrito students brought home math assessments and selected work with written reflections to share at home. Please review the work and send the packets back to school later this week. The work will be placed in the student's portfolio binders. No homework for Strawberry Creek students.

Purple group: We had a literal "warm up" this morning, playing a game of math tag with odd- and even-answered math facts on the ball court! Students received their lattice multiplication work back; completed pre-assessments about time-telling, fractions, and decimals; and filled out a student survey on math class, like the one they completed in December.
Blue Group: Today we began with process of elimination problem solving puzzles. The puzzles included matching categories to a subject based on clues using a grid to organize the information. The students revisited the geometry assessment from last week to make corrections and improvements, followed by a survey about how math is going.
Fifth grade math:
5th grade mathematicians learned to find a team's winning percentage today. This was challenging work that will need more practice but practical indeed. We'll make good baseball fans out of these guys yet!
