Feel free to drop in any time from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m., more details are in Zaq Roberts recent letter. We hope you can make it!

Fourth grade homework, due tomorrow
Purple group: Copy your final draft of the Top Secret question on one piece of graph paper, and your final draft of the answer key on a second piece of graph paper. Practice your multiplication facts! Check with your parents to make sure they are coming with you to Math Night.
Blue group: Practice page for multiplication and perimeter problem solving.
Writing: Today Strawberry students shared their "missing chapter" assignment with a classmate, and began writing a second draft. Using characters of Cut-Eye Higgins and a pig named Good Luck from the book, By The Great Horn Spoon, the students wrote their own version of the untold story of these characters, including pig heroism, Cut-Eye treachery, and a marriage between swine and man in a parody of The Owl & the Pussycat, by Edward Lear.
Word Study: Students took spelling tests for the words from last week, and began new sorts today.
Assembly & Birthday:
We started the morning with a happy assembly, and learned about the phases of the moon from the K-1 Blackberry Creek class. At the end of the day, we celebrated a 10th birthday!
Fourth grade math
Purple group: After our assembly this morning, we spent our short math class preparing for Math Night tomorrow, Tuesday, March 6 from 6:00-7:30pm, in the Strawberry Creek classroom. Students practiced answering problems for parents and finished choosing games to play with parents.
Blue Group: The blue group also made preparations for math night.
