Baking News: The bake sale fundraiser originally scheduled for March 8 is being postponed. We had a thoughtful discussion with Mitch today about the future of events like bake sales at the school. Strawberry and Laurel students are being charged with the mission to help establish a new model for this type of fundraiser. Issues the kids are being asked to work on are related to Traffic, Health and Money at school. The goal being to bring together these elements in a way that supports the values teaching and learning at TBS.

This Tuesday, March 6, please join us for the annual TBS Math Night. Fifth graders will meet in the Cerrito classroom with their families, and fourth graders in Strawberry Creek classroom. Feel free to drop in any time from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m., more details are in Zaq Roberts recent letter. We hope you can make it!

Fourth grade math
Students in the blue and purple groups met together today, to define different geometric terms, and to select and practice math games they will be teaching parents at Math Night.
Fifth grade math
Fifth graders went over the problem of the week and made a number of posters for our math reference wall. No homework this weekend. Thanks for all your hard work this week!
