Reading: Finish reading chapter 2, Bound for Oregon
Biography Writing: Some students are bringing home their biography folders to continue rewriting their biographies at home. We're hoping to have the final draft version finished and ready to go for the Biography Party on Thursday.
Tomorrow Night! 5:30-6:30pm: Biography essay and home project fair in the classroom.

Thursday, April 11: Sacramento Amtrak Field Trip: Strawberry Creek will be going to the California Train Museum in Sacramento as part of our Westward Movement study on Thursday, April 11, 2013. Please note the late return time from this trip as 5:00pm with pick up at the Berkeley Amtrak train station.

Today in Strawberry: Students finalized their biographies by completing their references page and cover. We had our second Oregon trail family activity - a shared reading of Bound for Oregon. This afternoon Strawberry students had an opportunity to share their projects with our buddies. This helped us work out the kinks, and plan for the set up for tomorrow night. Autumn and Chelsea came for a visit today. Autumn warmed everyone's heart with crawling, smiling and drooling - great baby stuff!
