Biography Presentations

Homework:
4th Grade Math: Fractions math packet due Wednesday
5th Grade Math: math packet

Biography Writing: Some students are bringing home with biography folders to continue rewriting their biographies at home. We're hoping to have the final draft version finished and ready to go for the Biography Party on Thursday.

Reminders:
April 4, 5:30-6:30pm:  Biography essay and home project fair.
We are holding an evening event on April 4 that will be similar to a science fair set up with the Strawberry students stationed by their projects and essays about famous Americans.  Guests will get a chance to visit the projects and talk to the researchers about the person they studied.  There will be light snacks provided.  This is the same evening as the Wildcat dinner/dance event in the Depot.  Families with students in Wildcat will still be able to visit Strawberry and attend the Wildcat event.

April 11: Sacramento Amtrak Field Trip: Strawberry Creek will be going to the California Train Museum in Sacramento as part of our Westward Movement study on Thursday, April 11, 2013.  Please note the late return time from this trip as 5:00pm with pick up at the Berkeley Amtrak train station.

The Presentations! We started out strong this morning with our biography presentations. It is amazing to see all the hard work that has gone into these projects at home and the thought and creativity that exudes from all of them. We are very proud of our Strawberry Creek students!
