No Homework this weekend!
Our morning began with a cacophony of animal sounds during our Cerritoberry meeting in the Depot. With eyes closed the students tried to locate other students by imitating animal sounds. Cows found cows, ducks found ducks . . .
Today was our first day with our buddy class, Laurel Creek (K-1). The buddies worked on Venn diagrams about their interests to find out about each other, and what they may have in common. The buddy pairs also began the first stage of a shared water color project. Some Strawberry students had their hands full with their cute and energetic buddies.
Thanks to all of you who were able to attend Back to School Night. We enjoyed the opportunity to share about the classroom and curriculum. Next week we will be updating the blog with some of the written information handed out, and catch up with items we ran short of time to share.
