The Strawberry students were assigned their role-play characters for Fort Ross today, and should have it with them in their binders. Some profiles are brief, and others more extensive. The electronic version of the handout is here, which includes links to costume ideas and historical background information at the Fort Ross website. If your child misplaces his or her character profile, please check this link for the first name, and the profile can be looked up at the Fort Ross website usually under the child's role group title (however, some profiles are from other role groups).
Today was our second buddy day with Laurel Creek. We wrapped up our work on projects started last week and had time for hanging out and drawing, reading and flying paper airplanes with the buddies.
We enjoyed our first shared Friday snack of crackers, cheese, apples and honey from Mia's family. The kids loved it!
