Dream Houses and Play

4th Grade Math:  Students are working on their  Dream House Project this week.  Tonight's goal is to draw out the 4 required rooms and record the dimensions and cost on the budget update sheet.  They may move onto planning the special room, but should not complete "Parts 1, 2 or 3" in the packet just yet.  We will introduce those tomorrow.

Practice & Memorize lines for the Oregon Trail Play:  Here is a link to the script you can use if needed to print another one.  Today we set the blocking (stage work) for many of the scenes.

Props:  The students are encouraged to bring in props they will need ASAP.  Costumes can come together a little later.

Home on the Range and Wayfaring Stranger: Here are the lyrics to Home on the Range and Wayfaring Stranger. We'll be practicing these songs in class and during music throughout the next couple of weeks, but singing performances are always better with more practice! Please encourage your student to practice over the weekend! Below are YouTube links to the songs in case it is easier to sing to with music and another voice!
