Acting, Singing, Creating, Oh My!

Oregon Trail Play:  Each Strawberry student is bringing home a script today.  It is the only one we will print for them (lots of paper).  Here is a link to the script you can use if needed to print another one.

Home on the Range and Wayfaring Stranger: Students are bringing home lyrics to Home on the Range and Wayfaring Stranger. We'll be practicing these songs in class and during music throughout the next couple of weeks, but singing performances are always better with more practice! Please encourage your student to practice over the weekend! Below are YouTube links to the songs in case it is easier to sing to with music and another voice!

Each Strawberry student received a very official looking script this morning for them to begin rehearsing on their own. They went through and highlighted their lines, as we'll begin rehearsing next week! There is so much excitement around the acting, prop making, and costume designing! We had a special visit from Kim and Zaq this afternoon to help the students rehearse the songs that they will be including into the performance! We've got some work to do in the voice projection, but things are sounding good so far!
