Reminders:
Please talk to your student about their costume for the school Halloween parade. Remember--no weapons, violence, or masks. Book or historical characters or biological specimens encouraged.
No homework this weekend.
We started the day with our Cerritoberry meeting, and this time students met in 8 different mixed small groups to consider the question: How could we design a better bathtub? Four groups presented their ideas to each other in each room--luxurious, inventive, and featuring candy and electronics!
In fourth grade math, we discussed number patterns and how to find the difference between two numbers. Some students still use their built in calculators, their fingers, to count, while others are further in developing their mental math skills.
Students enjoyed art and a writing project with our K-1 Laurel Creek buddies in the afternoon.
We hope you have a wonderful weekend!
