Costumes for Fort Ross & Art Class

Reminders:
Today students brought home green handouts with reminders about making costumes for Fort Ross. They need to have costumes completed by Tuesday, Nov. 8 at the very latest. Halloween would be a great opportunity to wear their costumes. Here is the page of links to costume ideas (photos) on the Fort Ross website.

We will also be asking students to share the idea for the Halloween costume this coming Monday, Oct. 24. Remember, no masks, no violent or inappropriate for school images, and no masks.

No homework this weekend.

Math
:
Fourth grade students worked on a new activity called Show Me One Half, which uses Cuisenaire math manipulate rods, money, and clocks to teach fractions and other number concepts. This work will be available to students to work on for the remainder of the year individually and with partners when they have extra time in math class.
