4th Grade Math Homework: Due on Friday - Tricky word problems.
Cultural Studies homework: Students are filling in the blank state names and capitals which are due FRIDAY.
Wordly Wise: The students will be bringing home Wordly Wise books to work on as part of
homework if they have not finished in class.
Wednesday Study Hall: Wednesday's after buddies we hold a study hall in the classroom for students to get started on homework.
Reminder: Next week we will only be in school for MONDAY and TUESDAY for the Thanksgiving break. If you are going to be out of town and your child will not be in school in the beginning of the week, please let us know by sending an email.
The Berkeley School is holding a spare change drive for the people affected by Hurricane Sandy. Please feel free to bring in any spare change to add to our classroom jar!
We started our math morning with an active game of Banana Tag- Best Out of Three. During class we took an assessment of our knowledge of multiplication.
Our split class time was spent finishing our stories and researching various plants that we saw yesterday at the UC Botanic Gardens. We found out scientific and common name of the plants, the characteristics, and other various information.
We played all sorts of games with our buddies today-- Sorry!, Guess Who?, Chess, Battleship, and many more!
