Today we worked on polishing up our moment in time stories. Students used the computers to type out and revise their moments, while focusing on using figurative language and painting a picture for their reader.

We spent time with our Laurel Creek buddies exploring our creative sides. Sitting back to back, buddy partners gave drawing instructions to each other to create similar drawings. The results were not always identical, but definitely entertaining!

At the end of the day we had a special visit from Chelsea and Autumn, Lila's mom and baby sister. Students met Autumn when she was still in Chelsea's tummy and have had the pleasure of having her in the class twice since she's been born. It's exciting to see her grow and change so much throughout the months!
