Thank you all for the healthy donations of newspaper. We are now well stocked and will not need more for quite a while.
Today in Strawberry: Step Up day was a huge success for both the 4th graders in Strawberry with Temescal students and the 5th graders who went to Wildcat. In Strawberry our math activities included a probability dice activity: the students rolled 6-sided dice about 25 times to determine likelihood of rolling certain sums. We used the information to complete a game board related to probability with dice. For writing workshop we read Where the Wild Things Are followed by creating our own version of the story. Back together in the classroom the Strawberry students continued to move forward on completing Fort Ross re-writing and science research writing projects we have been working on all week.
