4th Grade Math: Packet due on Friday (no math class both Wednesday & Thursday due to field trips) We are still not able to scan materials so I am unable to post the assignment. In class we recently reviewed different methods in multiplication (distributive property, lattice and standard algorithm). The students are currently creating board games based on probability rolls with dice. The students collected data about dice rolls and are using this information to plan a game. Requirements include using probability and other mathematical operations or concepts.
5th Grade Math: Problem pages due tomorrow.

Clothing Consideration this Week and Next: Our projects this week will be getting messier and messier. Everyone is bound to get a bit of paper mache or tempera paint

December 12: Field trip to Duxbury Reef (permission form)
December 19, 8:30-10:00 am:
Ocean and Kelp Forest classroom event.
Family members are invited to the "opening" of our Kelp Forest installation. Both Cerrito and Strawberry will be open for visiting the ocean related displays.
December 20: The students are in the midst of helping us plan our day before break. We are looking at food, crafts (including candle making) and other activities. This event is being planned by the kids and teachers. We will get notice out soon about any items students plan to bring in to share.
