2. Reading (every night)– Read for at least 20 minutes each night. Tonight's Fort Ross reading qualifies as reading time too.
Field Trip: Tuesday, October 8 (next week) - we are headed to the Shorebird Nature Center at the Berkeley Marina for a training day about shoreline clean up. This is our kick off to part of our service learning work this year. We are walking to and from, and are happy to have adults join as chaperone and participant. The field trip permission form is headed home tomorrow.
NEW weekly schedule: We have a new schedule for specialist classes. PE is now on Tuesday and Friday. Take a look.
MAP - The testing process went much more smoothly today for the Reading and Language sections of the MAP test. At the end of the day we debriefed about the testing. The kids had quite a bit to say about it seeming either too difficult at some times, and easy at other times, and many were unsure if it was really adapting to them.
Monday - Students sharing their presentations about California Indian tribes they researched.
